I am so excited to introduce you all to Johanna Tropiano. Johanna is a passionate advocate and powerful voice for justice related human rights issues. She has spent over a decade working with human rights organizations such as, International Justice Mission, Prison Fellowship, and others. She is a survivor of both sexual abuse and domestic violence, and as a result Johanna is a passionate advocate for those whose voice won’t be heard. Her work has been published in multiple media outlets such as, The Huffington Post, Darling Magazine, The Yellow Conference, Holl and Lane, and others.

On the show today Johanna opens up and shares her powerful “Me too” story of how she survived both sexual and domestic abuse. She speaks to what inspired her to devote her entire life to fighting injustice. And also shares about the power of letting go of shame and stepping into your calling. Near the end of this interview we also dive into the discussion of ethical and conscious fashion. Johanna shares about how our buying habits directly impact those being trafficked for labor all across the world.
