79. NYT Bestseller Evelyn Skye and her love of epic love stories

Episode 79 is Evelyn Skye. 

Evelyn Skye is a New York Times bestselling author of books for adults, young adults, and children. Her highly anticipated forthcoming novels include Damsel (which will also be a Netflix film starring Millie Bobby Brown, Robin Wright, and Angela Bassett) and The Hundred Loves of Juliet.

Evelyn is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Law School. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and daughter.

In this episode we discussed her most recent release, The Hundred Loves of Juliet and her vulnerable and candid discussion about its inspiration and finding herself in this novel. She talked about the soul of this Romeo and Juliet story and how it became a safe space. Finally, we touched on her transition from children’s to adult stories.
