Gifts From God - Review (Part 1)

In this episode I’ll begin a review of these 12 gifts that accompany the 12 steps. I guess I should not describe them as accompanying the steps. These are gifts from God that have been ours for the using since the time of our creation. We do not have to perform in any way, be any particular way, or make any commitments in order to receive these gifts. We need only to be aware of their existence and reach out to make use of them. As a matter of fact, these are not the only gifts that God has given us. They just happened to be those that I associate with the 12 steps. Actually, I am not saying in any way that these gifts are written in stone. You might decide that different gifts are more appropriate in the way that you view the step. Please, have at it. This is your program in your way of life. Use it in the way it helps you to connect to your Spirit. However, before making drastic changes to the program, I would strongly advise you to consult with a mentor or sponsor who is familiar with the program, with you, and with what you are trying to accomplish.
