I feel like I would like to squeeze in this episode in order to let you know my position as far as God is concerned. After all, I am saying that I am spiritual and that I believe these step programs have been given to us by God. I also talk a lot about my relationship with God and how it affects my way of life. So I think it is only fitting that you are aware of where I am coming from. I think you should know how I think and feel about God and my Spirit and, hopefully, that will help you to put my words in a spiritual context.

I would like to have a word of some sort that defines exactly what I think of my spiritual self. I haven’t been able to find one. Some have come up, such as theist or deist. Neither one really works for me. I guess what I would really like to call myself would be a “Spiritualist”, but that seems to be reserved for folks of a paranormal belief system. So maybe for now I’ll just keep calling myself Chuck.
