#080 There was a recent article explaining how a Wendy's employee of more than 20 years, who happened to have Down's Syndrome, was unceremoniously fired by a manager because she wanted the employee to do additional duties that he couldn't do. So basically, a good, reliable worker lost his job because of his disability. Now maybe that's an oversimplification, but I can tell you that this whole situation reeks of disrespect, poor judgement, and a lack of leadership on the part of the manager. Listen in to this episode and see if you agree with me, or if you think this situation was handled fairly.
