Haley Sicking made her debut in Carnegie Hall in 2016 as a soloist in Rutter's Requiem and the world premiere of Glasgow's Requiem. She has entertained her audiences with performances in opera, concert, recital, musical theatre, jazz, and early and contemporary music. In this episode, Haley shares with us how her journey into music began, how tragedy led her to whole-body health, and how she uses music to help her clients heal. She talks about the connection between the voice and the psyche and why it's essential to prepare whether you are an artist or the audience. Through music, she aligns people with heightened awareness and connection to self. One of the things Haley loves about being a vocalist is that it offers the opportunity to practice connection and vulnerability daily. When asked which character she would pick in my rapid-fire questions, she has the best response; Xena: Warrier Princes. Welcome to episode 59.
