This week's episode brings Rosana Eckert described as "a world-class artist" by Jazz History Online. She was the first woman to join the esteemed jazz faculty at the University of North Texas and help develop the vocal jazz department to one of the best in the world. She is the in house voice for Dallas' award-winning PBS TV station, KERA, and she has worked with some great jazz styles like Bobby McFerrin, Lyle Mays, and Kenny Wheeler (to name a few). Rosana talks about the many hats she wears, her upcoming album, and how she finds the balance between work and family life.
