Matt Dyson is the co-founder of Rockit who develop award winning products to help babies and young children to sleep. Helping exhausted parents all over the planet. If your little one wakes up as soon as your pushchair stops moving, The Rockit will keep it rocking so you don’t have to!
 
 Matt has had a number of career changes and was originally an art director at Ogilvy and Mather before retraining and becoming a teacher. He taught product design in schools and colleges for 20 years prior to starting up Rockit.
 
 Rockit was founded in 2016 when the fledging business won the Design Council Spark award for their prototype stroller rocker. The Rockit rocker has since gone on to win over 25 awards and has frequently featured on national TV and press, appearing on shows such as This Morning, and Lorraine. Over 120,000 Rockit’s have been sold since late 2017 and they are exported to over 50 countries around the world.
 
 This episode looks at how the invention came about, through to prototyping and branding, protecting your business idea and working with manufacturers and distributors around the globe.
