As featured in Forbes 30 under 30, Alina Bassi has gone from Aston University where she studied Chemical Engineering, to Cambridge working for bio-bean Ltd and working in energy consulting for ThyssenKrupp, to now Berlin where she has established her business Kleiderly.

Combining her drive for innovation with a passion for sustainable progress, Alina set out to establish Kleiderly with a self-assured goal of using her experience to solve the pressing issue of clothing waste within the fashion industry. She has since developed technology recycling waste clothing into new and sustainable material, contributing to the creation of an economically efficient and eco-friendly circular economy.

Alina is on a mission to lower the carbon footprint that is increasingly apparent within the fashion industry and save tonnes of CO2 emissions. Her entrepreneurial venture is certainly one to watch as it accelerates sustainability within the fashion world, and bridges the gap between calls for action and the active steps towards it. As well as her venture, Alina is a founding member of Tech In Colour and an alumni of Google for Startups Female Founder alumni, all contributing to her addition to Forbes 30 under 30 class of 2020.

Tune in to Alina’s episode where she’ll be giving you first-hand insight into her entrepreneurial journey towards her prideful Forbes achievement and her revolutionary business venture.
