Episode #414 -- Dig Me Out

Marvel brings the Original Trilogy era run of Star Wars comics to an end in the pages of Darth Vader (Vol. 3) #50, a weighty issue that not only ties up the recent storyline, but sets some key characters up for the future, particularly Sabé, as readers realize just how much of a hold Palpatine still has over Anakin Skywalker.

In Dark Horse Comics' The HIgh Republic Adventures Phase III #10, Sevran Tarkin takes a bold step in reclaiming not just her legacy, but her life, in a rousing story that leaves us feeling good inside, further evidence of just how good this series has been, is and will be.

• December solicits for Marvel and January for Dark Horse Comics are due later this week, likely on Thursday. We'll get our first look at the Last Stand four-issue mini-series that wraps up the 12-issue Battle of Jakku maxi-series.

• Dark Horse will collect the Crash Landing and Crash and Burn one-shots into the Crash Zone TPB due out April 22, which will also include the as-yet unsolicited The High Republic Adventures Phase III 2025 annual featuring stories by Charles and Rosemary Soule, Alyssa Wong, Zoraida Córdova and Cavan Scott.
• The Darth Maul: Black, White & Red four-issue mini-series will get a Treasury Edition format collection that's due out May 6.
