Comics, some wags would say, aren't real literature. We disagree and present as our evidence Obi-Wan #3 (of 5) and Doctor Aphra (Vol. 2) #22 as prime reasons why.

Both issues are complex and detailed examinations of regret, remembrance and rage and, unsurprisingly, present a pair of textured stories that will resonate for awhile.

_ SDCC 2022 brought some sneak peaks of upcoming The High Republic comics, along with news that Daniel José Older and Toni Bruno's The High Republic Adventures story is no longer a graphic novel, but an ongoing second volume of the initial IDW series
_ Claudia Gray's Dark Horse Star Wars comic is titled Quest for the Jedi and is due out in October
_ Star Wars: Visions #1 has been pushed to Oct. 12 from Sept. 21
_ Peach Momoko's virgin variant for The Mandalorian #4, due out Oct. 5, is a 1:100 variant and the pre-selling asking price for it is starting to rise VERY high.
