In a surprise move, Marvel released Doctor Aphra (Vol. 2) #1 digitally on May 4 as part of Star Wars Day, more than three weeks before the book goes on sale in comic shops on May 27.
That means we're back in business, at least when it comes to a new Star Wars comics, and the first issue by creative team Alyssa Wong (script), Marika Cresta (art), Rachelle Rosenberg (color artist), VC's Joe Caramagna (letters) and editors Thomas Groneman and Mark Paniccia, has delivered an entertaining and balanced start that packs plenty of promise and potential.
