221 – Self-Immolation (w/ Brent Cooper)

On May 29, 2019, Arnav Gupta burned himself alive on the White House lawn, wearing a USA t-shirt. Very few people noticed, and even fewer tried to listen to what Arnav might have been telling us.

Activist and writer Brent Cooper joins the Wrong Boys for a wide-ranging discussion on this event, self-immolation broadly, and a metamodernist approach to critiquing society and building a better world.
