Brixton Finishing School

In this episode our producer Lorna Allan talks to a group of recent graduates from the Brixton finishing school. Brixton Finishing School was set up in 2017 by former Unruly and MailOnline ad exec Ally Owen. BFS’s mission is to find young talent, from underrepresented groups and provide them with tools to enter the, often homogenous, world of advertising and digital marketing.Partnering with agencies BFS helps to prepare and support students giving them the best opportunity and connections to step into those roles knowing that more diverse teams at agencies produce better creative returns.

Lorna talks to Yusuf, Charlie and Anna about their experience at the school, why the programme is so important and the benefits of cultivating a supportive peer network.
