"Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ" (Ephesians 5:21). We don't really like that word "submit" do we? Yet mutual submission is a vital part of loving one another. Paul puts it this way in Philippians 2:3 - "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves." How do we do that? How do we put others before self?
