Fruit of the Spirit: GOODNESS

"The fruit of the Spirit is... goodness" (Galatians 5:22). What is this "goodness" that the Holy Spirit produces in/through our lives? This virtue is unique to the Christian life - the Greek word was used exclusively in the New Testament to describe an authentic, genuine Christ-follower. Rooted in God's own character, the word was not commonly used in the everyday language of the first century. So, what is "goodness?" And how do we allow the Holy Spirit to develop this fruit in us?
