WHAT IS A COVENANT?
Covenants are agreements that establish a relationship with commitments and consequences.
God initiated the covenant through creation of man & woman. (Genesis 1:26-27)
God explained the commitments of the covenant. (Genesis 1:28-30)
God warned of the consequences of breaking the covenant. (Genesis 2:15-17)
Adam & Eve's disobedience broke the covenant. (Genesis 3:1-7, 16-19)
God will be the one to restore the covenant. (Genesis 3:15, 21)
