Tony Delaney is a stalwart of Newcastle Rugby League having been involved at Waratah, Souths, Lakes & North Newcastle just to name a few. He has been a coach, a player, a trainer and has even dabbled in commentary and ground announcing. He is a passionate supporter of junior Rugby League as well as an experienced coach.
We spoke with Tony about his upcoming year at the helm of North Newcastle's senior mens side and the under 16's at Lakes United, a busy man, we appreciate Tony's time and opinions on issues facing local Rugby League.
