Intuitive design with Jaz Auden

In episode 3 my guest is Jaz Auden (@jazhandcrafts). Originally from England, he recently located to the South West of France.

His work caught my eye with his varied and creative style. Using colour and texture Jaz creates beautiful, one of a kind spoons and wood wear.

We start our conversation talking about his endeavor to build a lathe. He mentions Owen Thomas (@owenthomaswoodcraft) and his tutorial on building one on https://www.owenthomaswoodcraft.com/pole-lathe-plans.

We also cover the sourcing of wood, his spoon carving process, painting and dyeing spoons among other things.
