Throw Out the Lifeline!

In today's episode we talk about running the race and running towards God and pursuing His heart. We have a very special interview with Jason Sampler, the Georgia Director of Lifeline Children's Services sharing about the work of Lifeline with Pregnancy Counseling and Adoption Services here in Georgia and globally. 

Jason shares about a very special 9th Annual "Run for One" happening this weekend, August 29th at several locations in the south. This episode shares lots of beautiful insights about how we can pursue God and run towards Him. When we run towards Him, He will run towards us just like the Father in the story of the Prodigal running to his son. The Father's heart is to go after the one who is lost and even leaving the 99 to find that lost soul who has gone astray. He’s not far from each one of us. Even if it feels like you've run so far away that you’ve reached the point of no return, there He is right behind you, waiting to heal your backslidings.

For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.
“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray.
