Great Expectation

We know God is able to do great things, but do we expect Him to do it? It’s only when we expect great things from God that we begin attempting great things for God like William Carey did. Many times we can find ourselves expecting God to do very little or nothing... 
God can do greater, but do we expect Him to do it…? Or do we doubt…...?

James 1:6-8
"But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose (expect) that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."

Proverbs 10:28
"The hope of the righteous will be gladness, But the expectation of the wicked will perish."

Psalms 62:5
"My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation (hope) is from Him."

Romans 15:13
"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

Psalms 66:5-6
"Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men.
He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot. There we will rejoice in Him."
