You Have a Role

Scripture:

"For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others."

—Romans 12:4–5 (NIV)

Reflection:

In Fantastic Four, each hero had a different power, but they only succeeded when they worked together. That’s how the church works too. You may feel ordinary, but in God’s design, you are extraordinary—because you are part of the body of Christ. You belong, and you have a role that no one else can fill.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for making me part of Your church. Help me to value my role and honor others as we serve You together.
