Scripture: Matthew 10:2-4
2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; 3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; 4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
Reflection:
Jesus didn’t choose the best, the brightest, or the most morally perfect. He chose people with flaws and failures—yet they followed Him. Your background doesn’t disqualify you. Your willingness is what matters.
Application:
Stop disqualifying yourself by saying No. If Jesus called fishermen and tax collectors, He can surely use you. Obey Him by faith.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for calling people like me. I may not be perfect, but I am willing. Use me for Your glory. Amen.
