Welcome back music lovers to our portal where I invite you revisit your moments in soul which now reside within the memories of your inner minds. Inside this edition the fabulous 80s lies as a now distant but fond backdrop as I turn the time tuner to lock in too this period where socialising was an institution, Not a privilege! As wine-bars became as popular as the night spots which now provided another platform for the evolving DJ to create a widely high-street accessible platform for Soul music appreciations.

The wine bars that I played at and frequented for leisure were not only for yuppies to flick at each others filo-fax’s ! Superior sound systems, light shows and the rules of a mutual attraction were part of the game, Not forgetting 30 minute + wait times at the bar… I guess you could say Soul musics embrace knew no boundaries…
