Comic Books, Wrestling, and the Slaughter of Hulk Hogan!

On episode 17, we welcome Joey Esposito and Sean Von Gorman SOMEWHERE IN THE RING! Esposito is a comic book writer for such properties as Batman, Aquaman, and Catwoman. Von Gorman is an illustrator and writer, drawing covers for Star Trek, creating art for Neil Gaiman's Neverwear, and also working with Image, Dynamite, and Dark Horse Comics. Together, Esposito and Von Gorman created the comic book, Pawn Shop and also the highly anticipated new comic book series, The Pedestrian. Today, they join Ryan and Andrew to talk about the subtle and not-so-subtle comparisons between comic books and wrestling and then they help break down the 1991 Wrestlemania 7 main event that pitted Sgt. Slaughter against Hulk Hogan in the weirdest and bloodiest of ways!
