Hockey night in Canada was every boy's dream and Ryan was on his way to achieving those dreams. He was a professional hockey player who was on his way up at a very young age and got swept up in the win or lose we booze cycle.  At 23 years old he was a convict doing time in a maximum federal penitentiary.
