HOPES | return to my life before assaults & learn a bit about myself that enables me a) know people faster b) avoid worst behaviors permanently so nothing sticks in since I absorb it all & learning from that or having "gratitude for the experience"* isn't effective anymore c) find that passion I found with education
DESIRES | create something that I can tangibly hand to someone or guide someone to if they want to know how I got here so I don't have to keep explaining it
SEED | CPS (Chicago Public School) parents. Starting with being a nanny in Lincoln, then a student & finally a teacher in the same neighborhoods with people with this very specific way of seeing people.
*That excuse of "this is my first time" & me, being a teacher, loving that moment with a student finally gets it (usually 3rd quarter) has been finally broken.
