Birth control has long been seen as a rite of passage or a way to take control of your health. While it can be helpful, we often aren’t told enough (or anything) about what it can really do to our bodies and the side effects of it. Going off of it seems scary, too, after all of the fear around getting pregnant when we’re not ready. My guest Cindy Luquin talks about what the pill does, how we can find a hormone-suppressant free way to know our cycles and reconnect with our bodies.
