Van Dyke Parks // Pt 1

Van Dyke is an American musician, songwriter, arranger and producer who has worked with Brian Wilson, Ry Cooder, Randy Newman, Harry Nilsson, Little Feat and so many more. He was asked to join The Byrds and Crosby Stills & Nash - and turned them down ! 

He’s also known for his work on film soundtracks. 

I caught up with him the day after his 81st birthday to talk about his start in showbiz and current projects.
