Carl Jones

Ground Control was formed in Swansea in South Wales to write and play hard edged post-punk “Power Pop” and became one of the hottest young bands in the area in the early 1980s.
The band consisted of Mark Northcott on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Carl Jones on lead guitar and backing vocals, Dave Badger on bass and backing vocals and Steve Sambrook on drums.
