The early stages of a marital relationship can be a whirlwind of emotions that leave a person giddy with excitement, nervous with anticipation, and excited about what the future holds. Meanwhile, couples who have been married for a long time often miss the initial stages or phases of marriage itself. They feel that the enthusiasm they had when they were newlyweds has disappeared after being married for many years.
