From the beginning, I've always been reminded by people around me not to hate too much, as it may turn into love, and vice versa – not to love too much, as it may turn into hate. This seems reasonable, as it's better not to overdo everything, including romance.However, some people choose to have a relationship based on both love and hate simultaneously, known as a Love-Hate Relationship. Those in this type of relationship often experience extreme ups and downs, resembling a roller coaster. They may feel happy due to love at one moment, and then feel like they're in 'hell' because they hate their partner's behavior.While many people may see couples in a love-hate relationship as relationship goals, as they are able to overcome various obstacles and become more lasting, it's still not good for each individual's mental health. So, what causes this?
