Episode 013: Network Audit [CAREER]

Doing a network audit starts by taking a look at who you spend the most time with. If you are indeed the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with, do those 5 people have the same values, goals, and ambitions? Most importantly, do they exhibit the behaviours and habits that you need to get to those goals? Look to spend more time with the folks that are aligned with your future goals, and less time with those that don't.

Then take a look at the people that you know surrounding those goals. Are they in the industry, companies and domains that you want to get in to?

If so, then build those meaningful connections.

If not, then make those connections and look to make them meaningful.

You can be proactive about the people you know and whom you interact with.
