The name of Jesus is the most powerful name in all of heaven and earth. Throughout the Bible and history, we see the name of Jesus casting out demons, healing the sick, raising the dead, bringing about peace, and instilling heroic courage.

“‘Then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. Jesus is
    “the stone you builders rejected,
     which has become the cornerstone.”
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.’”
Acts 4:10-12, NIV

Semester Study Guide: Acts Study Workbook | Sisterhood at River Valley

Week 5 Teacher: Emily Pahl

Dig Deeper this week:

  1. Read Acts 7 at least once in the coming week.
  2. Practice praying the Name of Jesus with conviction out loud and for yourself. Steal this prayer based on Acts 4:12 and pray it each day this week:

Jesus, salvation is found in no one else but you, for there is no other name under heaven given to me by which I must be saved.
