25. Coffee Fuel Portuguese Song... (Mixolydian Scale Gold)

Happy New 2025 has Begun. 
And I've squirrelled away an afternoon to say hi. 
I wanted to sing a big hard song to start the year. 
It's called Magalenha, by the incredible Sergio Mendez. 
I begin in D Major, and an Aminor. 
And we sing a major scale and then, technically a Mixolydian scale cause I flatten the 7, as the song requires. 

We sing this bit:
Calangulango, do calango 
da pretinha, 'Tô cantando 
essa mudinha pra senhora se lembrar,

Daquele tempo que vivia 
la na roça com uma filha
Na barriga e outra filha pra criar
