You Get To Choose

This week we're looking at the cost of following Jesus and how he is always worthy of our obedience.

Question

How is God looking at you right now? What’s his posture towards you?

Sit with whatever comes up. Then go to God and see what he has to say about it.

Prayer

Thank you Lord that you are always for us, that your posture towards us is leaning in not backing away, that you rejoice over us with singing. God I know I so often get it wrong, I make poor choices, or give too much of my attention to what I’ve lost, or I just don’t see you clearly for who you are: a loving father, who gave his best for me, and who wants my heart more than my achievements. Would you remind me of the truth now God, of how loved I am, of how great you are, and of how, through it all, in you I’ll have gained more than I could ever lose. Amen.
