Like any good trilogy franchise, the Easter Story really has three parts: The Cross, The Resurrection, and The Ascension. The true story of Jesus has to include all three parts to make sense and to save us. So at Sideris, we take three weeks each year to unpack each of the 3 parts of the story surrounding Easter.
This week is all about The Ascension. What does it mean that Jesus ascended? What does that matter where Jesus is now and what he is doing? Why is this part of Jesus' story often forgotten or overseen?
