We didn’t plan on starting the show with sweaty eggs, but here we are. A casual chat about Dean’s backyard chickens turned into a lesson on egg storage, pasteurization, and the strange science of egg sweat. That somehow led us straight into Easter territory, with a taste test of cotton candy Peeps and a dive into the sticky, spun-sugar history of cotton candy itself.
Then the governor showed up—literally. We had to relocate mid-show to make room, which felt like the perfect excuse to crank up the weird. From a man in Australia arrested for ordering plutonium online to a plumber in Indiana sabotaging a restaurant’s pipes, the second half of the show was full of strange, borderline unbelievable stories.
We also talked about zombie spiders infected by brain-controlling fungus, the ethical nightmare of lab-grown headless human bodies, and a true story about a babysitter who found a man hiding under a child’s bed. We wrapped things up with a quick preview of Mountain West Fiesta Fest and our tequila-filled plans for April.
