Betty Bigombe is the Special Envoy of Uganda to the South Sudan Peace Process. In this episode, we talk about her experiences as a negotiator, which started with her encounters with LRA leader, Joseph Kony. Ms Bigombe talks further about the participation of women in formal peace negotiations and mediation, and the mental health toll of mediation.
