Danielle Kartes is the author being the Rustic Joyful Food book series, a seasoned speaker, recipe developer, and food stylist. Once a restaurant owner, she brings her life experience to the table running all that is Rustic Joyful Food, along with her husband Michael. She is also a seasoned speaker, teacher, and television personality. 

You may have seen her numerous appearances on the Kelly Clarkson Show, Rachel Ray, Access Hollywood or Home and Family to name a few. Her wild sense of humor and quick wit wins over viewers just as much as her delicious recipes. Danielle’s cookbooks are more than just books. They are recipes to feed your family with writing to feed your soul. 

She shares her incredible story and her love for Jesus at every turn. Anyone who encounters Danielle finds themselves grinning ear to ear. Her most recent book, You Were Always There, Danielle shares a more intimate look at her walk with God in addition to her recipes that we love her for.

 She lives near Seattle, Washington with her two adorable boys and her photographer extraordinaire, Michael. You can find her with her “digger” finding treasures at the thrift store, tending to her garden, or going on little adventures with her family in tow.
