Season Five: Beauty For Ashes With Special Guest Rachael Adams

We are talking about beauty from ashes in Season 5. Jesus reminds us in  John 16:33, “In this world, you will have trouble, but take courage, for I have overcome the world.”

God never intends for us to stay stuck in our sin, pain, or deep sorrow. He heals, restores, and calls us onward. Reminding us that in Him, we have great purpose and hope. And that’s the key to the ashes that cover our days in this life.  Christ came to bring beauty from ashes.

In this episode Hosts, Holly Newton and Anna Lise Lillard chatted with special guest, Rachael Adams. They talked about:

• How can we bring beauty to those who are grieving?

• We need to look for God's beauty and joy in the midst of sorrow. It is all around us. Our situations may not change, but our perspectives can. We need to recognize and encounter God's beauty in life.

• God can take what we believe to be the worst of circumstances and turn it into something great. 

• We have hope for coming out on the other side of sorrow with shouts of praise for our Lord maybe not now, but definitely in eternity. 

• We can use our sorrow to point people to Jesus as we display His splendor with our garments of praise.
