S1:E26 – GENEPIL

GENEPIL, the last Mongolian Queen Consort. A little later in the historical record than usually catches my fancy, her fascinating tale has sparked an interest in Mongolian history for me that I am super stoked to explore further, probably in future episodes!

Note: in the episode I'm unsure if Genepil is literally a descendant of Ghengis Khan or not (though I suspect she is) and I have subsequently confirmed that YES, she definitely was.
