It’s day 33 of the Omer… and it’s a holiday! We celebrate the deeper side of Torah and celebrate out love and joy for other people, no matter how different we all are. That’s truly what Kavod/honor means- what rabbi Akiva’s students who all died for lacking this trait. Rabbi breitowitz gave an incredible talk about being careful about not getting overly zealous no matter how “religious” or not religious you are- to treat all people with the weightiness and respect they deserve for just being here! Because oh boy if you thing Hashem doesn’t love anyone a whole ton…. Uh oh you are in for a surprise. He sure does. No matter what. And I love EVERY single person in the world! (Obviously happy raina is writing this at the moment when the kids are occupied, in two minutes when they are all screaming at me and jumping on me I have a feeling my answer might change;)) hope not!
