Explanation of the sixteen recommended acts (sunan) of salaah.

9. Sitting in the position of iftiraash in the first tashahud.

10. Sitting in the position of tawarruk in the second tashahud.

11. Raising the index finder in the first and second tashahud.

12. Reciting the salaat al-ibrahimiyya in the first tashahud.

13. Making du'aa after the final tashahud just before tasleem.

14. Reciting Quran audibly in Fajr, and the first two rak'aat of Maghreb and Isha.

15. Reciting Quran audibly in Dhuhur, Asr, the last rak'at of Maghrib and the final two rak'aat of Isha.

16. Reciting additional Quran after reciting Surat al-Fatiha.
