The importance of being a proud American 099

Keith opens this week's episode with a somber tone as he reads all 21 names of the lives lost in Uvalde Texas. Reading the names leads to a heartfelt explosion of emotion that puts an emphasis on parenting and society's infatuation with violence. Gone are the days of the feel-good family stories of the Waltons they are replaced with murder mysteries and psychopaths on a killing spree. As main stream media continues to give copious amounts of coverage to the murderers and terrorists some parents keep placing children in front of the tv set as they gear up for the latest episode of mature content tv series. As we mourn the innocent lives lost and search for answers we realize we have been creating a problem for decades.  The sadness and disappointment shared by all Americans leave many asking what is so great about America. As we pause to celebrate Memorial Day it is important to look beyond the day off from work and understand the opportunity to gather as friends was provided by the sacrifice of all the men and women in the US Military.  Puzzled by the extreme differences in philosophies of Americans some are ashamed to be American others so proud they are willing to risk their own lives and safety to defend America. No matter how difficult each day may be or how many tragedies we encounter it is critical we realize and celebrate all the great freedoms and opportunities our great country provides. As Americans find themselves emersed in challenging times it has never been more important to be a Loud proud American. A person that lives with passion and compassion and provides a level of leadership that inspires others to be better versions of themselves. Episode 99 is a passionate episode full of emotional points of view an assessment of Presidential leadership abilities and a demand to live in a way that honors the men and women that fought for our freedoms. Trying to understand tragedy, the first offsite event for the business in 2022, and celebrating Memorial Day all lead up to an excellent episode of Share The Struggle Podcast!
