Getting Back On Track!

Imagine for a moment coming home to Him. Imagine returning to God. As I read through the parable of the Prodigal Son this week, its content really struck home again, as it always does.

God desires more than anything for you to realize His great love for you. He wants you to be an obedient son or daughter and therefore reap the great blessings He has in store for you.

Jonah learned the hard way. Maybe as you listen to this message, you realize that you are learning the hard way too.

You might look like you have your life together, but it is falling apart. Although you still claim to be a Christian, your life is being lived in many ways outside of Christ.

Imagine that right now, this very moment, in the privacy of your heart and mind, you ask God for forgiveness. Respond to the prompting of God’s Holy Spirit’s conviction of your sin.

Jonah learned the hard way that God was not amused by disobedience. The same principle applies to us today. I urge you to approach God with a penitent heart and seek forgiveness and restoration.

Then, ask God to help you live a life that is consistent and God-honoring.
