74. Is the Devil in the Details, or Should I Aim for Imperfect Progress?

We have all heard the saying, “The Devil is in the Details”, which of course means we should either focus on the nitty gritty of every idea, process, and action.

 
But we’ve all also heard, that we should just make progress – imperfect, rough around the edges, not fully thought out, progress.

 
So which is true? And if they are both true, when does each apply?
