Melissa Fleming recounts the story of her son, Brock, who was diagnosed with DIPG at the age of seven. His courageous fight inspired the formation of "Team Brock," a supportive community that rallied around Brock and his family throughout his battle. After Brock's passing, Team Brock transformed into an initiative in partnership with "The Cure Starts Now," focused on raising awareness of DIPG, funding pediatric brain cancer research, and offering support to families facing similar challenges. Through events and community involvement, the Flemings continue to honor Brock's legacy while advocating for improved treatments and outcomes for children battling cancer.
