Matthew's account of the crucifixion contains multiple fulfillments of prophecy, not by Jesus but by his enemies, who unwittingly testify that Jesus is the Messiah. We can believe that Jesus is the Christ because the Scriptures say so and his enemies testify to them. (Text: Matthew 27:27-44)
