Vijay begins a new series title, ‘Solomon’s Story: Searching for Satisfaction’. He tells us of the events that surrounded Solomon’s ascent to the throne in 1 Kings 1-2. Solomon is shrewd in consolidating power. But his shrewdness for gaining political dominance seems to come at the expense of his commitment to an obedience to the Law of God.
